VC4 centers its narrative on an experience of open warfare with a fascist empire, focusing less on the history and prejudices manipulated and exploited by the empire than the original game. With numerous adjustments built on the solid core and visual style of the original, Valkyria Chronicles 4 is a beautiful treat for fans of the series.
