Backstabbing with the U-AC5 & ECM Cicada CDA-3M - Mechwarrior Online - The Daily Dose #116
335Today I show you how to be useful by distracting the enemy with a fast moving ECM covered mid-range Mech. For this purpose I took out the Cicada CDA-3M to the battlefield. This Mech is perfect for this role because it not only has the ECM but is also reasonably fast and has amazing quirks for the Ultra AC5.
The Autocannon features a rather short cooldown and some good range so that you can advance into a good position using the ECM, find yourself a piece of cover and then shoot into the backs or flanks of the enemy from a safe distance. This way you either deal a good amount of damage over the time or you draw their attention and split them up while your team can push in on them. However, make sure that you use your mobility and the ECM to get out of tight situations once you've been spottet.
