"The Sprinter" MASC Cataphract CTF-3L - Mechwarrior Online - The Daily Dose #122
500When you combine a very durable Heavy Mech with brawling abilites and a MASC you get a really good frontline brawler. Today we are playing the Cataphract CTF-3L which can be devastating in close quarter combat. The MASC allows you to make a quick sprint into the fight and also helps when peeking around corners. The huge accelleration bonus helps you getting quickly back to cover.
Also the Cataphract is an overall sturdy Mech with great hitboxes and can tank a lot of damage while putting out massive firepower with the AC20 in the right side torso. However, this build runs a little hot because of the 5 Medium Lasers that I took as backup weapons. So watch your heat management when you are in the fight. Shutting down right in front of your enemy is deadly in a brawl.
