This video is not only to show the basic tools that can be used, but to help emphasize the importance of not just sitting back and sniping on the attacking team. If you are able to get a lot of kills so your team can successfully advance, then you are doing your job well. However if you are sitting back only getting a kill here or there, your team will probably need more from you to win. Sitting back sniping is a support tactic, nothing else. It should only be done by a couple players max.
Due to some comments: The sniper rifle is definitely not the best weapon to charge a base with, however you shouldn't hold back just because you spawned with a sniper rifle and can't find another pack to pick up. I am just explaining that you CAN use the sniper rifle decently if necessary. Don't get stuck in a "I have a long range class, therefore I should never get in close" mindset. Sometimes you just have to take care of a situation you aren't prepared for.
DO COMMIT SUICIDE - At times suicide is a fantastic option. The long-term effect is not just "Your team loses 1 ticket". You have to factor in "How many tickets will we lose if I DON'T commit suicide?
1. Commit suicide, lose 1 ticket, get back in and destroy the target with 1 more run?
2. Or stay alive, wait for backup to bring more ammo and risk the enemy taking a defensive position killing my teamates which may take 3+ tickets?
Many times I also find myself planting the bomb while under enemy fire. In that situation, why not place 6 C4's, plant the bomb and kill myself? Otherwise I would just plant the bomb and get killed. Now the mcom has %50 less health than before.
My squad also does suicide runs. All you need is 2 recons to get in close. Both plant 6 C4's and kill themselves to ensure they don't die and lose the C4's. Guaranteed mcom destruction!
Suicide can help you win, once the target is destroyed you will get new tickets to take on the next segment of the battle. If you have enough tickets, blow that mcom up baby!
