I have some amazing friends in the gaming community. Unfortunately for me, they are also some of the worst influences. When I was recently attending the Midwest Gaming Classic in 2023, I was able to hang out with my friends Jay from @SquarePegs, Kris from @GameDadShow, Thor from@lkpalazzo, and @JohnRiggs. We love to pick on and dog each other, and we give it to each other was well as we take it. Well, when it comes to making bad decisions, these guys are some of the most fun, but they are also bad influences.

At the show, I saw many tempting items I both wanted and didn't want to spend the money on. Mighty Final Fight, Ducktails 2, a (very yellowed) ROB, Game Boy Micros, limited edition PSPs, Famicom Switch Controllers, and much more. One thing that I've eyeballed for some time has been an Atari Jaguar. My friend Russ had one when we were in high school, and I'd love to get one in the collection. The problem is that there are really only 2 games I want to play, AvP and Tempest 2000. The system sells for close to $400 now, and those 2 games aren't exactly cheap.
