Baidu Apollo & ZF ProAI Autonomous Drive Valet Demo http://www.mobilegeeks.com Nicole scott here for mobile geeks, today we’re at Baidu’s HQ in California to see the ZF ProAi supercomputer for Autonomous drive in action.

The ZFPro Ai is a tiny super computer and all it needs to run level 4 autonomous drive around this parking are the cars standard environmental sensors and 2 cameras, one on the front, the other on the back. This used to take a trunk full of somputers, now it’s just a tiny box. You can call the car to your location with an app, Pand Auto is a large carsharing service in China, this test is being run on cars you can already find in their fleet. AiPro was announced at last years CES and we’re hoping with China’s ability to legislate quickly we might see this on the roads reducing overhead for car-sharing companies sooner than we think.
