Restarted the game before each attempt or else you will get a cutscene skip when getting to the house which happens if you've either completed the game previously or you have a continue save where you've aready had it. Since that's classed as pre run setup it shouldn't be allowed. Timing starts when selecting new game and timing ends once you get back to the main menu, this is done to make sure the timing method is consistent across all endings since the endings where you enter the code correctly still include gameplay even after the game says it's ended and just letting the timer run out and dying is faster anyways.
