We're roleplaying as a town-planner in fantasy China. Ballads has many moving parts, all of them pretty awesome! The Chinese art-style with light fantasy and sci-fi elements is unique and beautiful.

To push the game forward, you have to unlock regions through a challenge mode. After succeeding the challenge, you add that region to your overall and combined play area.

We're going to be unlocking the secrets of Ballads of Hongye for the forseeable future, I think.
