Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever - Game Boy Advance (2002)
1I admit I made a mistake for a sec. I honestly thought that there was only one game based on this IP, but instead, I find out that this is actually a sequel. The first, frustratingly named Ecks. vs. Sever, is not actually the same game as this.
Confusing naming aside, this is quite good. It's limited, but for what it is, it's really doing all it can. It does a good job of fighting its resolution problem, which is incredible. I honestly thought the pixelation would be a huge problem for hit detection considering that it will happen mere feet in front of you, but it registers shots just fine from most distances. It's surprisingly smooth as well, and it works verticality in, too, even if it's somewhat forced shooting galleries at times.
I wish I could get that multi-link going, though....wouldn't that be something.
