Here in Kansas City, there used to be a guy that did the morning show here named Dick Dale. About once a week one of the morning activities would be Banana Jack's GAMBO (Guest Ambush.)

The radio station would often get requests from people to plug their books and so forth, Dick, not wanting to really deal with them created a game out of it. The point of the game was that Dick would put on the persona of Banana Jack, an over the top douche bag disk-jocky. He'd have the person call into the station, put on a phony interview in the Banana Jack persona, then about halfway through turn it over to the listeners to ask questions.

Unknown to the guest, the listeners are assigned specific questions to ask the guest that are geared to piss the guest off and make them end the interview. The first person to get the guest to hang-up would get the prize from Crapo the Prize Clown.
