Banjo-Tooie (N64) [60FPS] - "New Game+" Full Playthrough (100%)
"New Game+" is a new way to play Banjo-Tooie by using a Gameshark code that unlocks all moves from the beginning of the game. Sadly, unlike Banjo-Kazooie, there doesn't seem to be any glitch that would make that possible without the use of cheating devices.
If you are curious on how to enable it, I made this video tutorial on how to do via Project64, as well the Gameshark codes needed to do so: • Banjo-Tooie (N64) "New Game+" Tutorial (Ga...
This gameplay was also captured with the "60FPS" enhancement, "Disable LoD" and "HD Shadows and Banjo Models" enabled. Note that the 60FPS enhancement is not perfect. I had to disable it in a couple instances, namely:
Levitating the rock on Glitter Gulch Mine as Mumbo, as the game is unable to proceed the cutscene properly;
The UFO cutscene on Jolly Roger Lagoon;
The entire section when Banjo transforms into a Washing Machine. While you can move normally, trying to throw underpants at enemies will cause it to teleport to random areas of the map;
The Mary races are impossible as she run faster than you when 60FPS is enabled;
The King Jingaling puzzles runs at a faster speed;
There might be others too, but I don't remember all.
If you play on Project64, you can disable the Enhancement during gameplay, and it will proceed as normal. Afterwards, you can re-enable again while still in-game, no problem.
The "All Moves" cheat code also, for some reason, already makes the Energy pads on Witchyworld active, not requiring Mumbo to do them. The same is applied to the oxygen in Jolly Roger Lagoon, as you can immediately go to Deep Underwater. During the start of the game, some random "correct" sound effects will play, but that doesn't last throughout the playthrough and seem to only happen once you use an unlocked move.
This isn't a speedrun and it's more of a raw playthrough with some parts shortened (as I did the playthrough in several days and not just one sitting). I may have forgot some parts, so if you see the Pause screen for too long, just skip a few seconds. Some parts were cut-out due to either me being afk, removing opening cutscene when I played another day, or in the case of the Tower of Quiz, my emulator crashed the first time, so I joined the second attempt at the moment it crashed. That's a Project64 issue and it's unrelated to the code, as I had the same thing happen before.
I also cheated on the Race with Mary on Cloud Cuckooland, with a turbo controller, because we all know how difficult that is and I wasn't feeling in destroying my hands during my day-offs playing this game.
