Banning Sleep: A poor solution to a non-problem
I see zero reason why Sleep Clause Mod needs removed for the sole reason of a mod being untrue to the cartridge. Sleep Clause has been in competitive singles Pokémon since the first generation. Sleep Clause allows sleep to exist in the game, a mechanic integral to the metagame at hand. Furthermore, if sleep were to be banned simply because it is too strong in its own right, I fail to see the evidence. Sleep moves (save Spore) are rarely used on current viable OU 'mons, and each has potential upsides and downsides neither of which strictly outweigh the other. This is overall, a poor solution to a non-problem, and frankly, a waste of time.
