4This is the full soundtrack from Streets of Rage 3 for the SEGA Genesis/Mega Drive, also released in Japan as Bare Knuckle III!
In this game, Blaze Fielding and Axel Stone make their return; she writes a letter to him explaining that Mr. X is seeking world domination again, and he's going to use a series of Rakushin Bombs to destroy the planet! Mr. X has also captured General Ivan Petrov and plans to kill him if the bombs detonate. In the letter, Adam Hunter is unplayable; however, Eddie/Sammy "Skate" Hunter (Adam's brother) returns from the predecessor and Dr. Gilbert Zan is a new character in this game. Seeking for Axel's help, Blaze recruits Skate and Dr. Zan, and the four must put an end to all of the Rakushin Bombs and defeat Mr. X again once and for all!
Max Thunder from the predecessor is also unplayable, as he only appears in the Staff Roll.
This music is composed by Yuzo Koshiro, like he did the previous two games!
The game has three different endings in BK3, with a 4th added ending in SOR3.
The three possible endings from "Bare Knuckle III" are:
1. Gen. Petrov is killed by the explosives of the Rakushin Bombs, and the heroes failed to rescue him in time
2. Gen. Petrov is rescued by the heroes, and they eventually reach Mr. X; however, time had expired and they failed to defuse the final Rakushin Bomb within three minutes
3. Gen. Petrov is rescued by the Heroes, and they eventually reach Mr. X; they defeat the villain once and for all before time expires, and they successfully defuse the final Rakushin Bomb (this is the True Ending)
In "Streets of Rage 3", the story is altered, Axel & Blaze have different palette swaps on their clothes, Ash and the Opening Cutscene are removed from the game, Gen. Petrov is renamed as The President, and the 4th ending happens if playing on Easy difficulty; the game is a lot harder than its Japanese counterpart
