Bart vs the Space Mutants (1991) Introduction and Demo in BEAR-O-VISION™ (MS-DOS) (4K)
Bear play Bart vs. the Space Mutants on DOS. Little yellow human try stop aliens—use tricks, jump high, wear weird hats. Game hard... controls stiff like frozen paw. But colors fun, music silly, like circus in moonlight. Bear laugh, growl, try again. Aliens no match for bear-sized patience!
Released in 1991 for MS-DOS, The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Space Mutants is a side-scrolling platformer developed by Imagineering and published by Ocean Software. In this game, players control Bart Simpson as he discovers that aliens are infiltrating Springfield, disguised as humans. Armed with x-ray glasses, Bart must thwart the aliens' plans across five levels by collecting or destroying specific items they need for their invasion. The DOS version features a unique animated intro sequence depicting Bart witnessing a UFO landing and uncovering the aliens' true identities. While praised for its faithful adaptation of the show's humor and characters, the game was also noted for its challenging gameplay and controls.
