4I've settled into a format for MicroBytes, focusing on interesting bits of demoscene stuff and game intros and music and general home microcomputer bits 'n' pieces.
The title tuneage to Ubi Soft's B.A.T has long been one of my favourite pieces of home computer music and after firing up the Atari ST original to vibe along to it, I figured it might make for a nice MicroByte!
B.A.T itself is an interesting and ambitious project, a hybrid RPG and cinematic sci-fi adventure that has plenty of that late 80s weirdness that French companies such as Ubi and Loriciels revelled in.
Recorded on the Hatari core for Retroarch with Duimon's overlay and shader presets for Mega Bezel Shader Project.
