Wildcards Commands

dir c?mp*re
(this helps you find files that are like camp, comp, chom, etc.)
dir c?mp.*

dir 19*.*
(This will find all files that start with 19)

dir *.mp3
(This will help all files in a directory that have a .mp3 file extension)

rename *.txt *.jpg
(This will change all .txt files to .jpg files)

del comp*.txt
(This will delete all files that begin with comp and end with the .txt extension)

dir comp*r.*
(This will all find all files with comp in the front and r at the back, like compiler, computer, etc.)

*.*
(deletes everything in selected folder)
