So whilst it isn't finished, the majority of the work on Stage 3 of the MTB Park is complete. Most of whats left is just minor tuning, and one big project which is a logistical nightmare, there will be a video of that eventually too. For now though the work has moved onto the next part of the track, The clubhouse link is an approximately 2km length of trail which joins the end of the stage 3 downhill with the clubhouse that is to be built by the velodrome. Most of the Clubhouse link is going to be downhill, the first 600 metres in fact are a continuation of the stage 3 dh, lots more turns berms, jumps, and other features. After this there will be a mild climb across the hill to some natural features on the other side of the park, where we will again descend hard and fast to the bottom, then a flat run to the clubhouse from there.

Work actually started on this stage about two weeks ago, when the opening segment (this 600m downhill section) was marked planned. The digging started last week, and is progressing quickly given favourable ground conditions. The feature you see being built in this video is the first of 3 rolls/jumps through the middle of tree forks. It took myself and another a whole day to build it, probably given we're not carpenters. In any case its shaping up to be a cool section, and expect more videos soon.
