Batman 89 and Mask of the Phantasm Remix Matchup
0The title says it all. First, I crushed the majority of Elfman's Batman89 score upon itself. Then I proceeded to layer Walker's Mask of the Phantasm, crushing 90 minutes of music into a third of the duration. THIS IS NOT A MEDLEY, IT IS A DOUBLE ALBUM MATCH-UP. Not too unlike my previous Willow/Great Mouse Detective matchup, but let's face it this is a more popular topic and easier for casual digestion. (Also this mix was slightly easier to build) A bunch of you will know both of these movies/scores/disks, enjoy them SMASHED together. Another $33 on cd's for 24bit wave extraction. Turn Youtube Auto-Leveling OFF on televisions. Oh yeah, there's bonus material at the beginning and the end, hence the reason we go on a little bit longer than even Hellraiser 1&2 mix, but only a little bit longer. Some of this - will be better than other parts. May make a shorter "Best-of" version for mixcloud and preserve the Wave file/condense further/clean up etc...leave some comments and let me know. I still have no idea if this is a listenable format, and I may be the only one who does these whole soundtrack matchups...let me know yo. Do these mixes have validity? Are they delusional maniac projects that shouldn't exist, from a guy who lives in his own whack little world? You decide America, and well, other nations who also like Batman, enjoy!!
