Batman: Arkham City, an action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios, is the sequel to Arkham Asylum. A part of Gotham City has been turned into the super-prison, Arkham City, housing all the inmates and patients from Blackgate and Arkham Asylum. Upon Bruce Wayne (Batman's civilian identity) makes a political plea to close Arkham City down, Wayne is seized and held within the chaotic prison. Wayne is informed of the potentially devious plot, Protocol 10, and that Hugo Strange knows he's Batman.
