I don't know why anyone would be angry at the ad at the start. I'm happy he makes money doing what he loves. In my opinion, the ad was as entertaining as the rest of it. The ad consisted of him giving commentary on a product, just like the rest of the video. BUT ALSO, you feel the joy of knowing that he made more money on that bit of the video. That is, assuming you wish him well. I get the vibe that many in several comments sections would like to know that off camera, their favorite creators are living in cardboard boxes
