Many people will say that this is a terrible game.. Which it is.. But if you can manage to get the dos version running properly and figure out all of the controls and moves, it is a very fun experience. (Especially with a friend via co-op).

Version Differences:
Sega ~ Reduced texture resolution, 3 or 6 button control type, Certain Gadgets are easier to use while others are near impossible, Lowest quality Audio, No Loading Screens, No cutscenes, One Short Jim Carrey Quote for riddles, Walmart costumes.

Snes ~ Regular Texture resolution, 6 button control type, Gadgets are harder to use in general but none are near impossible, Significantly better audio than Sega, Loading screens between canvas's, Short basic cutscenes, No Jim Carrey Quotes for riddles, Walmart Costumes.

DOS ~ Highest texture resolution (320x240 approx), 6 button control type, Gadgets are harder to use in general but none are near impossible, Perfect CD Audio (Best of all versions), Very Short Loadig Screens Between canvas & audio is maintained, Full cutscenes, Full Jim Carrey Quotes for riddles, Enhanecd Costumes, Minor transparency issues with stage lights, Riddler thug inflate attack has no animation, Robin doesn't have a staff (He has regular fists & kicks instead), all gadgets and special moves are vocalised.

Im using retro arch with some custom shaders for scaling & aliasing on a 16:9 modern display. I also switched the start and select buttons on my ps4 controller so you can use the grappling hook properly. I reccomend a ps4 controller instead of a real snes controller for this game because the d-pad is much beter, making the gadgets easier to use; also the regular face and bumper buttons are positioned the same as an snes controller. Most complaints for this game involve the terrible controls, which are actually posted incorrectly in the game manual (A ridiculous forsight i have never seen in a game before..) There are also foreground issues and certain game specific issues depending on what version your playing. I reccomend getting the DOS version if you can; although it is the most difficult version to configure and run on windows 10, it is the best overall.
