1If you thought the madhouse was bad, wait until you have to take on an entire city! In anticipation of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, we will provide walkthroughs of all the Arkham games, with this video covering the second entry in the Arkham saga: Arkham City.
Released in 2011, this game not only continues, but improves the gameplay mechanics from Arkham Asylum, with new gadgets, features, an even larger open world to explore, and introducing many more iconic characters to the Arkhamverse. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprise their roles from the DC Animated Universe and the previous game as Batman and the Joker, respectively. Tara Strong makes her debut as Harley Quinn's new voice actress, the role having been played previously by Arleen Sorkin. Arkham City is often viewed as the best entry in the Arkham series.
Batman: Arkham Asylum was released initially on October 18, 2011, for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and later Microsoft Windows and Mac OS. It was remastered and re-released by Virtuos in Batman: Return to Arkham with all of its DLC as well as Batman: Arkham Asylum on October 16, 2016, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The original version was ported by Start Me Up for the Nintendo Switch as part of the Batman: Arkham Trilogy on December 1, 2023.
