Battle Network 1 Mr Higbsy test, Turbo Thunderbolt Audition
3Finally getting to making more test videos at last.
A recurring character in the Battle Network series is Higsby, the operator of Numberman. Going in, I (Quantom X) already had a good idea who I wanted to play this part. My good friend, Turbo Thunderbolt. Who's name you my recognize from the credits of our videos as the guy who designed our Hyper Frost Productions logo. I pegged his voice as being a good fit for how I imagine Higsby sounding (I don't like his voice in the NT Warrior anime).
So I had him try a few line readings and I took the best takes from them and added them to the video. Some line delivery and acting can be worked on later, this was just a test to see how he'd sound. and the awkwardness actually kinda works for this character, especially in the context of the situation he's in in this game.
