Battlefield 1 - Part 6: The Runner "Cape Helles" & "The Runner"
Is it biased if I think that this is my favourite campaign in any shooting game cause the main character is Australian?
Yes? Well good, cause it is.
Frederick Bishop fought as a messenger in the ANZAC (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) during the war in Gallipoli against the Ottoman Empire (Turkish).
There's a day known as ANZAC Day (25th April). This is a day of remembering the fallen soldiers from the Australian & New Zealand Army who served and died in all wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and the contribution and suffering of all those who have served. The day is to remember those who have severed and lost during the Gallipoli Campaign.
There's also a day known as Remembrance Day which is for the Commonwealth states to also remember those who have fallen on the First World War and many wars after that. Those who have fallen are remembered at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. This service is shadowed to ANZAC Day, however people will still either attend the ceremony or be met with Buglers from the Australian Defence Force and they play a tune in the CBD. Last Post is played on both of these days to commemorate the men who have fallen.
Battlefield 1, developed by DICE and is part of the mainline series and despite the title, this is the 15th entry into the series. The game focuses on World War I and the story is inspired by historical events.
And can you tell me, doctor, why I still can't get to sleep?
