Battlefield 1942: Desert combat mod gameplay
23Gentlemen..this is BF1942 Desert combat mod, a mod that forever changed the landscape of FPS shooters in gaming.
At the time of the release of this mod back in february 6th of 2004, Desert combat mod was practically a revolutionary concept that allowed Trauma studios (now integrated with THQ who worked to release Frontlines: Fuel of War in February 15th of 2008) to change how gaming was being shaped that day, allowing us to play awesome shooters like Battlefield 2, the COD Modern warfare series and so on.
This mod was so good that it even won an award and became the sole reason of the Birth of Battlefield 2 on June 21st of 2005, another of my favourite FPS Shooters that i make videos of every once in a while..
Anyway back to the video, essentually it changes the WW2 setting for a Modern time period, it has the same maps from BF1942 except you can play them with all the modern vehicles and factions, the coalition (essentually the US Marines and the Opposition,the IRAK army i guess) with a decent variety of guns and lots of vehicles, it also adds like 3 maps set in the desert or in some Irak town.
