Battlefield 1942 is a first person shooter (FPS) game which takes place during World War II. Players can assume the role of various wartime classes, such as Scout, Anti-Tank, Engineer, Medic, and Assault and they also have the ability to control various vehicles, include amphibious vehicles and aircrafts.
Battlefield 1942 was developed by Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment and was published by Electronic Arts in 2002 for Microsoft Windows and MacOS.
