I recorded this using an actual NES and VCR; there were no cheating devices involved (including emulators, turbo controllers, or Game Genie).

I could list improvements for this run, but nobody cares. I only have two notes for this game:

1. The dash jump that you see me use frequently lets me move faster than a dash itself and also allows me to headbutt in the air. This lends itself to all sorts of tricks that I show on levels 1 and 2. The dash jump is done by pressing the jump button on the same frame as the second "toward" input for dashing normally. Since it requires such precision, I do miss quite a few of them. Consequently, the time I gain by using it to move is likely overridden by my misses. It's far more fun and entertaining to use them, though, so I do.

2. Because of the above trick, I may have broken my d-pad. The frequent missed dashes (mostly level 5, some on level 3) are due to this maybe. Or because I am bad at this game.


Coincidentally, I also maxed the score during this run somehow. I won't question it. Enjoy!
