Yeah.
That's the end.

This is way harder than the nes version of battletoads for sure.
To be honest, I'd rather play the genesis version.

I understand how in the game they were trying to add new things to make it seem fresh,
But I think they made it too different.

Even though this one only has 10 stages (not including rat race or terra tubes) it's still VERY frustrating.
More than the nes version.

How? There's no check points.
NONE.
No matter how far you get into a stage, you die, you go ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE BEGINNING.
Most stages anyway.

The one thing I like about this one, is how if you get hit in the turbo tunnel, you don't have to reset. but you do lose health.
That's fair. But if you get knocked into a pit, NOPE

And there's a knock back mechanic too.
IT'S SO UNFORGIVING.
If you're to left of the screen or right, and an enemy hits you,
YOU'RE SCREWED.

It's not so bad in other stages besides level 3,
but level 3 is TERRIBLE.
If this game didn't have a knock back mechanic, (or a more forgiving one that doesn't KNOCK YOU OFF THE MAP)
it may have been fine.

Hard decision if I want to speedrun this or not.
definitely not right now.
But I'll still think about it.
