Gameplay footage of the 2008 Xbox Live Arcade update of Battlezone running in Xenia being controlled with a pair of flight sticks. This version of the game was never released on any other console. It plays very similar to the original with updated graphics. The radar screen shows you which direction the enemy tanks are facing.

To get it to work with the sticks you will likely have to set the HID to "winkey" in the config file and use Xpadder and map your sticks to the following keyboard inputs:
Left Stick Up: W
Left Stick Down: S
Right Stick Up: Up
Right Stick Down: Down
Fire Button/A Button: Semicolon ( ; )

You can navigate the menus with the WASD keys. Use apostrophe ( ' ) for the B button to go back. Switch to "Dual Stick" in the options menu. If you are having audio issues, I recommend using an older version. I am using a Xenia Canary build from Aug. 8th, 2023 in the video.
