Battlezone retro game on a real Windows98 retro PC - Installation and playing, the whole procedure!
In this Real Hardware Review we install and play the retro game Battlezone(1998) on a real Pentium II 400Mhz connected to awesome Retro Speakers and a brand new CRT Monitor. Everything in this Video is original Retro Hardware from back in the day!
The Video includes a complete Bootup into Windows 98se plus the Complete animated Installation of the game(AMAZING!!) and some quick peaks into some of the different Planets you get to experience in Battlezone.
The Game itself can really be called a hidden Gem and is a exceptionally well designed mix of Command and Conquer and a action Tank driving Game. It got HUGE rating scores back in it's time but it was a VERY DIFFICULT Game (even for the standards back then!) and thus never was a big commercial success.
In a further Video I will install the Game also on a Retro PC with a Voodoo3 and Voodoo5 and show you the difference there. For now I hope you enjoy this little nostalgia Trip and I hope you recognize how much stuff we needed to do back in the day when we wanted to play a game :D
