While it may not have been what I or most players wanted from a Battlefield campaign, it is a very competent COD clone and in many ways it is a better follow up to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare than MW2 was. If Infinity Ward instead never made MW2 and instead took 4 years to work on their engine and graphics technology and eventually came out with this as the sequel to Modern Warfare I think it would be much better recieved.
