So it looks like the BBC are currently giving the Windows 10 store a pass as far as a native iPlayer app is concerned. Given the BBC is a public broadcaster that has put iPlayer on so many devices it seems wacky they would give the largest desktop install by far a miss.

Maybe they feel that web-based access to iPlayer is sufficient? Well it won't be for all that long. Native rules as far as the majority of users are concerned, given the fact that people are used to apps on Android and iOS.
