Choosing the Class That's Right for You

1. Figuring out your playstyle
- Fighting games: Combo, poking then reset to neutral, projectile, rushdown.
- Skyrim is a great way to figure out your playstyle. Just start a game and play whatever you have the most fun with or feel the most natural playing. Afterwards settle on the secondary combat style you used as Black Desert does not have a stealth archer class.
- Examples: Warrior is a powerful melee fighter who stands tall on the battlefield. He is always rushing into the fray and breaking the opponents lines. His playstyle has a heavy emphasis on direct combat and brute forcing his way through opponents, with an emphasis on defense and the ability to close in on the enemy.
- Wizard's playstyle takes the powerful abilities used to break lines that the warrior has and discards the defensive abilities in favour of range and larger AoE. The Wizard cannot survive if closed in upon, and must instead obliterate his enemies from a distance instead of charging into the enemy ranks as the warrior would.

2. Class fantasy
- Often linked with your playstyle.
- Powerful magic, knight in shining armour, nimble assassin vs steadfast guardian.

3. Looks
- As we say in the gacha community. Pick with your dick. Choose the class whose looks suit you the best.

4. Most effective tactic available
- Follow the meta. Choose the most powerful class.
