Being a huge fan of The Rookie (love Nathan in Castle) and fresh off season 7, this game just hits the spot with its realism, at least reasonable realism within its games context. It's a bit like GTA but this time, you're on the side of the cops.

Really fun with custom shifts too, though my partner is completely useless when chasing down perps. When there are more than one, it can be difficult to chase both of them down yourself especially when they tend to split in opposite directions.

Some glitches here and there, and I'm not a fan of the system they have going on for shootings (probably to compensate for players using joysticks to play, but on KB&M, it feels extremely wonky and "off"). I also find the vehicles very hard to handle, but that might just be me - I often find vehicles in games hard to handle in general. It feels so much better driving IRL.

But overall, a competent and fairly realistic take on a police simulator. There's no other game like this out there as far as I know and I love it despite its flaws!
