Sheepy is finally here, both in that the game came out and I got the video out eventually.
A discarded to is given life by some magic sky orb and Sheepy is born. How? Why? Who knows, they didn't do it to the nearby Whale so maybe we're special. Definitely adorable, that's for sure. Sheepy heads through the darkness and we masterfully avoid hazards as we find notes on Janitors, "Belgin", recordings and warnings, abandoned bags and even a skeleton. Something happened, that much is obvious something very bad. But what, and why are we here? Before we can find any answers we find more trouble. The same magic sky orbs decide to give life to a nearby teddy bear with a knife in its head called Patches. A blatantly bad idea that instantly goes wrong.
In the first stage of the Patches boss fight we jump over him causing him to wound himself on wall spikes. Eventually hew goes down and we gain TWO magic orb things from him which allows us to double jump. Cool, but again, why? What does it all mean? patches turns out to not be done though and turns into some sort of warp froggy shadow monster to hunt us down. Fortunately we fall down a massive hole and lose him somehow.
Down below the mysteries continue, we find Vinyl records, elevators we operate with our weight, levers to pull and a pile more confusing messages and recordings. They all point to some mystery that we need the answers to. A lot of people died down here and we need to know why and for what. As we ride a large cage lift downwards further we get a real sense of how enormous this place is, it's HUGE, like an empire under ground. :O Where ARE we?! We hear "Belgin" mentioned again, they seem to be a part of whatever happened here but I'm also beginning to get the impression we may be against the clock as this area will soon be "turned off" apparently. Don't know what exactly that means but it sounds very bad. Fear not though, Sheepy is on the case!
