Bears Lose on Dumb Coaching Gaffe
Chicago Bears vs Minnesota Vikings was a battle between two bitter rivals in the NFC North. The game went to overtime and the Bears had a golden opportunity to win. Maybe one of the most bone-headed calls we have ever seen from a coach occurred on 2nd down when Marc Trestman opted to kick a field goal. It was a 47 yard attempt which Robbie Gould missed, but the big question is why kick so early? Trestman's explanation was he feared the team turning the ball over or committing a penalty.
