Beating Legend of Zelda : ToTK Without Dying (Also No Food) [ Part One ]
Legend of Zelda : Tears of a Kingdom is just a goddamn masterpiece. Exploration and creativity explode from this sure to be Nintendo classic, but in terms of difficulty... I find it a bit lacking personally. You have infinite healing items, death is not a real consequence, and quite frankly none of the fights feel like they have any real stakes.
So what if we up the ante and make it a proper challenge run? I came up with some rules to keep it interesting.
RULES
- Any death no matter how unlucky, is a true death and the adventure must be restarted
- No healing items
- Other ways of restoring health, like shrines or resting at a stable are fair game
- Elixirs are fair game as long as they don't heal
- No glitches or exploits
- If I accidentally consume a healing item when I'm not allowed, I have to start over whatever it is I'm doing if possible or attempt to retake the damage that was healed
- NO FAIRIES, fairy use counts as a death
- No fast travel unless at fast travel points
