2*Beewolves Need A Win For X-Mas*
The Beewolves are on a 3-game losing streak while steaming full speed ahead toward the end of the season. The league champions find themselves struggling to put together a complete game. They have had a hard time finding any offense, and then when they do their pitching, or their defense, OR their baserunning usually snatches defeat from the jaws of victory. If the Beewolves have any hope of trying to repeat, they first must concern themselves with getting into the playoffs. Playoffs or bust *_must_* be the new mantra inside that Phoenix locker room.
Luckily the final 5 games of the season favor the Beewolves. Tonight the ‘Wolves will face off against their divisional opponents the Water Bullets. The Water Bullets have struggled this year and are only going to see post season if they have a ticket, but that won’t stop them from playing spoiler. This squad is playing for pride at this point and that makes them the most dangerous team on the field tonight.
The Beewolves need this game to stay ahead of the Herbisaurs in the Wild Card race, and just to get themselves off the mat and back into fightin’ shape.
Can the Beewolves return to form?
Will the Water Bullets be able to continue to take advantage of the Beewolves bad luck?
