Wing Commander was released in 1990, over 2 decades ago, it brought a lot of new storytelling elements to the spaceship flying genre, while many of these features had previously appeared elsewhere Wing Commander really brought them together in a well rounded pacakage. With Star Citizen about to launch its first 'playable' module imminently I thought it was high time to go back and look at the original Wing Commander games.
