Barrows Graphical Rework
Complete graphical revamp of the Barrows mini-game
The environments, as well as the brothers themselves, have been completely re-design. There are some mixed feeling about the new graphical changes, but I personally feel that this is a welcomed change and I like the new graphical update.
The Firemaker's Curse
Later this month, there will be a new quest introduced for high-level firemakers named 'The Firemaker's Curse' This quest will feature Sera - the character chosen by the recent Guaranteed Content Poll. The Requirements of this quest are 74 Firemaking, 76 Construction, and 64 Agility. If you are a fan of Runescape lore, then make sure you check out "Twice Burnt", which reveals more information about this upcoming quest.
Hati and Skoll
Also this month, we will see the return of Hati Wolf and his brother Skoll. If you didn't get them last year, there will be more chances to fight Hati for the Combat XP boosting gloves. or a recharge if you already have them. You will also fight his brother, Skoll, which you will have a chance to obtain a set of boots that boost either Agility or Woodcutting XP for a set time.
Troll Warzone
Finally, Jagex is closing this month with an overhaul of Burthorpe. This is designed as an introductory area for new members, but it is still worth checking out if you are a veteran also. There are massive graphical improvements; an awesomely cute baby troll pet that can be obtained, and improved versions of Death Plateau, Wolf Whistle and Druidic Ritual all of which can be replayed even if you've completed the originals. Lastly, a new quest called "Let Them Eat Pie" will be introduced later this month.
