It's been a while, but we're back again with a new episode of Behind the Scenes with L.K., and in Episode 7, I discuss my recent suspension on Twitch, and how I've spent #twoyears as a #twitchaffiliate and 8 years as a content creator/gamer/streamer overall, and how Twitch pushed me to the edge of burnout, and I eventually came up with a plan that's been at least 5-10 years in the making, formulating it to near perfection, and while there's been some bumps and bruises along the way, and I went over the edge where I not only suffered streamer/creator burnout, but I suffered #autistic #burnout as well, and I needed to reflect, step back, re-evaluate and figure out where I lost myself and you along the way and hope to rediscover myself and bring myself back to the woman that I used to be and the content that I used to love to create and the content that you loved to watch.
So I've implemented a plan, made some pretty good points and hopefully concluded it strongly in a way that feels like you should be more secure in your decision to eventually support me, if you choose to do so, on my path to YouTube Partnership, and streaming full-time on Kick under the @LKTheHorrorNerd platform, and of course, continuing the new content creation that will be coming out for years to come on both this channel and the L.K. the HorrorNerd channel for YouTube, and on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, etc. until Twitch either approves and agrees with the appeal that I've submitted, or I end up going to Kick and YouTube permanently.
I wanted to properly say goodbye to Twitch with a #starwarsday on #maythefourth and celebrate it in a way with a stream-a-thon event that weekend this year, only for the main Lorelei Kerouac Twitch main channel, so that I could focus on my L.K. the HorrorNerd Twitch channel permanently, but it looks like that might not even happen for a while, so until that appeal is resolved, I invite you to help me reach YouTube Partner on both channels here and there, and of course, to follow the official L.K. the HorrorNerd channel on Kick at the following link I'll provide in the #pinnedcomment below.
I thank you for two wonderful years on Twitch and 8 years overall, but the time has come for something new, exciting, better and different, and it truly does hit different this time around, especially with YouTube, Kick and more, and I'm even more inspired than ever before to get back to comedy skits that I used to love to create, thanks to the inspiring comedy videos from @kallmekris and of course, @crypticvisionary and even being so more inspired by @harrisheller, and @Senpai and even @EposVox because I wanted to review books, TV shows, movies, video games, PC gaming products, consoles, restaurants, travel destinations, all sorts of music, different shops and so much more and do unboxing videos from people who ordered off my wishlist or wanted me to review products/gear/equipment, etc., and I really missed that.
I lost myself along the way, and it's time to get myself back. So this is my journey back to myself, and BACK TO YOU.
