The real problem was "delivery". I thought cooking would entail that the ai companion would auto-haul the cooked meat once done... but no. Unless you prioritze DELIVERY before or after cooking, he may not haul the food at all!

So make sure you prioritize DELIVERY at 1 or 2 ( would suggest 2 ) to ensure your food doesn't burn.

Also, don't cook too many food at start since you're only 2 people in your base. Cook more when you base grows more.
