For Individual Level runs, the in-game timer is used, though the option to use real time is also available. For real time, the timer begins once the level has loaded and ends upon completing the level when the "You made it!" text appears on the screen. For "The Final Run," real time is required, and ends when the ending cutscene plays since neither the in-game timer nor the level completion text are present.
