Ben Bero Beh is a cool action/platformer developed and released in Japan by Taito in 1984. Playing as "Ben the Superhero", you must travel through various apartment complexs that are on fire to rescue a young lady (who apparently is very irresponsible or a pyromaniac to keep "accidentally" setting places on fire) at the bottom of the level. However, these apartments aren't your typical run-of-the-mill apartments; besides dealing with flames and a crumbling foundation, you have to avoid monsters, evil gas leaks, falling beautiful women, random hazards, and Taito cameos such as "Mr. Chack'n" (Chack'n Pop) and "An Agent" (Elevator Action), characters from prior Taito games. Ben can be stunned by some things, but most things will kill him such as falling too far, swaying lights, gas (and gas explosions which can be set off faster if fire is near), fire, and some enemies. Ben uses a fire extinguisher to push enemies and put out fires, and can also jump gaps.
