Ben Hogan's actual wrist action was not the same as the Ravielli drawings, detailing his 'supination' idea. Hogan actually freely hinged his wrist into the opposite position through impact.
Alas, Hogan's terminology was wrong in this case, as this bowed wrist motion is called 'flexion' or 'palmar flexion'.
