We unbox, speed build and review Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! from The LEGO Movie. Released in 2014, we found this LEGO set mint-in-box three years after release for this LEGO Movie unboxing video. Benny's spaceship has many retro LEGO features including the classic LEGO space logo vintage LEGO colored elements.
We get exclusive LEGO minifigures in this set including Robo Emmet, Space Wyldstyle and Robo Pilot, plus an Astro Kitty. We also get Benny who is not an exclusive here. Including LEGO Minifigures, this set has a part count of 940 and is numbered 70816.
LEGO's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! includes many interactive features which we demonstrate in this LEGO review. These include extendable wings which reveal a pair of spring-loaded cannons, flick missiles at the front of the ship and spring-loaded laser shooters. We also get a pair of LEGO spacebots hidden under the satelite dish.
Two mini spaceships can be found attached to each wing and each is big enough for a minifigure such as Wildstyle or Benny including accessories to ride along. We also get a Robo Police interceptor featuring opening cockpit for the Robo Pilot minifig.
Benny's Spaceship, Spaceship, SPACESHIP! is an awesome LEGO set, especially if you are a fan of classic space LEGO or The LEGO Movie. The LEGO Movie minifigures that we get with this set are beautifully printed and mostly exclusive to the set.
