this video should have been up a few weeks ago but stress made it difficult as you know my life is always stressy, this is the benq lightbar that was sent to me by benq for test, and i am not a huge fan of lightbars never wanted one or had the need for one but i really like this, it's a cozy light that is out of the way until you need it, it supports curved monitors and it supports my oled tv which surprised me as it's a thin panel tv, brightness and color temp can be adjusted, the controls are finicky and very difficult to see in the dark small gripe, overall the controller feels amazing and it's wireless, the light also shines at the back of the panel.

thank you to benq for letting me have this, allthough i was never the audience this was intended for i am pleasantly surprised and have found myself using it as i like the feeling of having that light on when working, the buildquality and material is mostly metal and not much plastic it feels and looks amazing, do i believe it's worth the $179 yes i do if you need it for the purpose it's for and thats taking away eyestrain and giving a much more pleasant place to work and or just an extra light that isn't really in the way, but as a fan of rgb i would have adored it with ique integration and rgb, as well as a diffuser to make the light more uniform

you can purchase it here again thank you to benq for sending this to me, i wasn't told what to say or feel about this product, i was sent it free of charge to keep, but opinions are my own.

some things i noted as well as some feedback

swiveling would have been nice as right now the light shines in my eyes as my tv is quite high up and when i work i sit very low
i would have also wanted rgb with ique integration but thats not the intended purpose but it would be nice
google assistant integration, i'd love to just tell it to turn the light off make it cooler wamer etc rather than the control it comes with
different material for the remote, the remote is glossy plastic very prone to scratching nothing i've noticed yet but worth noting as that type of plastic scratches easily
