BERKELEY GREEN PARKRUN! A pretty much all flat parkrun all on concrete / tarmac paths located in the South-West next to the town of Berkeley! This flat parkrun is all around a disused nuclear power station! Join me as I provide an in-depth review of the Berkeley Green Parkrun experience.
Three laps on tarmac paths of a flat and fast course, embedded in the heart of nuclear history. The start and finish is outside the entrance to the canteen for the college.
Dogs and buggies/prams are allowed at this parkrun and there are toilets directly next to the start line, therefore, it is great for facilities! As the route is all on tarmac, road shoes are recommended. In terms of how busy the parkrun is, it is about average with around 116 people, however, some of the paths can be tight and bottleneck, especially at the start. With it being a flat parkrun and all on tarmac, it is a great parkrun for a PB!
The weather was OK on the day, grey skies but no rain and the perfect temperature for a run. The atmosphere was great and there were some great volunteers to keep you going! This is the 46th parkrun I have recorded on the channel of which you can find a playlist of them below:

I will be doing parkruns all over the UK and rest of the world! Every Saturday I take part in a 5K run trying my hardest to get under 20 mins.
