This is almost a good game, but it suffers from a few glaring issues that make it hard to recommend. The difficulty spikes are random, meaning when you are getting surrounded by enemies, you will just find yourself go down in a near instant, at times. Hit boxes are a little wonky, as sometimes they are huge or completely unexpected in situations you thought were safe (get a load of the katana in this game). Menus are confusing at times. Some enemies are way too fast. Some of the weapons or abilities you get (like the additional slash) are completely chance-based as to when they are used as opposed to being on a timer, which I don't see as being good for a survivors-like game. And the main character....whoever thought this guy needed to verbally speak should not have had an input, because some of the things that are spoken are more annoying than they are impressive.
You generally don't feel like a full-on reverse bullet-hell badass in this game, most of the time. This game needs some work, and I hope it improves, because it has a unique idea, being an exploration-based survivors-like game. But, I can't claim to be able to recommend it just yet.
