Besides Gaming 2011: Anime
Katanagatari - I loved this series with its initial apathetic main character and egocentric plotting chick. The art design and direction is just fantastic. It wasn't until the third episode that I realized they were 48 minutes long. The fourth episode with the sister and epic non seen battle was great. I loved the cast of characters and anti-normalcy of the whole affair. Like how the main character only really killed 2 of the wanawai ninjas. Just like Madoka the last hour or so with the reveals and events help cement the series into my memory and prevent it from being something forgettable. Cherrio!
5cm per Second -- Super great. It pulls at my all heart strings. Great vistas, characters, and relatable despair. Of course what do you expect from the guy who did Voice of a Distant Star, that guy really knows who to hit me. Another one of my lost existence series.
Trigun Badlands Rumble -- I watch sub, then 2xdubbed at the cinema café. Enjoyed it but could have used a little more fan service, Angel Arms anyone.
Tail Enders -- Barely remember it, think it had car and was very stylisic
Gundam Unicorn -- A decent new Gundam OVA released in small parts so I can easily forget about it.
Summer Wars -- A really good anime movie that has a good mix of slice of life, tech, and family matters.
Level E -- A good solid humorous series, al Excel.
East of Eden Movies -- So very disappointed with the wasted potential of this series, meh.
Madoka -- Really. Take awhile to get into but worth it. I actually cried when little brother wrote in her name in the sand. Another one of my lost existence series.
time of eve very good thought provoking
The Place Promised in Our Early Days -- The weak link in otherwise his excellent portfolio. Convoluted plot.
Baccano -- A series I originally passed over but gave a watch this year. I really enjoyed the overall plot and cast of characters. I was of put by the timing and editing of the events, but got use to it.
Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai -- Another great lost existence time jump friendship series.
Ride Back -- A very nice little series, I greatly enjoyed the mechanical arts of the ride backs.
Deadman Wonderland -- The series had promise but just flounders around, abrupt ending, meh, more of it?
Clannad -- A surprisingly good haremish show. It had lots of lost time/ existence arcs which I really enjoy. Anticipating watching the second season next year.
No 6. -- A decent quick anime series, nothing really notable.
Stein Gate -- Watched 3 episodes and gave up, meh.
